Day 1 - 20th of August: Traveling Dhaka to Tashkent.
Day 2 - 21st August: Tashkent.
Breakfast, Prepare for city tour
After having breakfast in hotel in Tashkent we will start our tour to exploring Tashkent.
Tashkent: The capital city of Uzbekistan, Tashkent offers a blend of modern and traditional sights. We shall visit the Chorsu Bazaar, explore the Old Town with its mosques and mausoleums, and discover Independence Square.
Morning
Start your day with a visit to the Khast Imam Square, home to the Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tillya Sheikh Mosque, and the Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum. Don't miss the chance to see the world-famous Quran of Caliph Uthman.
Afternoon
Explore Chorsu Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in Tashkent, where you can experience the vibrant atmosphere and shop for local souvenirs, spices, and traditional Uzbek crafts.
Evening
Visit the Amir Timur Square and Independence Square to admire the grand monuments and enjoy an evening stroll.
Day 3 - 22nd August: Samarkand (2:40 train ride).
Breakast, Train ride to Samarkand
After breakfast at the hotel we will start to Samarkand By train.
Samarkand: Known as the gem of the Silk Road, Samarkand is home to stunning architectural marvels such as the Registan Square, Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis, and Ulugh Beg Observatory. Customers will be captivated by the intricate tile work and grandeur of these historic sites.
Morning
Depart for Samarkand in the early morning at about 6am.
One of the oldest inhabited cities in Central Asia. Start our exploration at Registan Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring three madrasahs with stunning architecture.
Afternoon
Continue to Gur-e Amir Mausoleum, the final resting place of Timur (Tamerlane), the renowned Central Asian conqueror. Explore the nearby Shah-i-Zinda necropolis, a sacred site with beautifully decorated mausoleums.
Evening
Relax and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, soaking in the ambiance of this historic citymark.
Day 4 - 23rd August: Samarkand.
Morning
Visit the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Islamic world, built by Timur for his favorite wife. Explore the adjacent Siab Bazaar, where you can taste local fruits and sweets.
Afternoon
Spend your afternoon at the Ulugh Beg Observatory, built by Timur's grandson, who was a notable astronomer. Marvel at the ancient astronomical instruments and learn about the history of astronomy in Central Asia.
Evening
Take a leisurely stroll through the streets of Samarkand, enjoying the illuminated monuments and bustling markets.
Day 5 - 24th August: Bukhara (2h 38m train ride).
Travel to Bukhara
Bukhara: A UNESCO World Heritage Site with a well-preserved old town, Bukhara exudes charm and history. Customers can explore the Ark Fortress, Po-i-Kalyan Complex, and wander through the narrow streets lined with ancient buildings
Travel to Bukhara, another UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved medieval architecture. Begin your exploration at the historic center, where you can visit the Ark Fortress, the oldest structure in Bukhara.
Afternoon
Explore the Po-i-Kalyan complex, which includes the Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque, and Miri-Arab Madrasah. Don't miss the chance to visit the nearby trading domes, where you can shop for local handicrafts.
Evening
Enjoy dinner at a traditional Uzbek restaurant, sampling local delicacies such as plov (rice pilaf) and shashlik (grilled meat skewers).
Day 6 - 25th August: Bukhara.
Morning
Visit the Samanid Mausoleum, one of the oldest surviving structures in Bukhara, dating back to the 9th century. Explore the nearby Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum and the Bolo Hauz Mosque.
Afternoon
Spend your afternoon wandering through the narrow streets of Bukhara's Old Town, admiring the traditional architecture and stopping at local tea houses and artisan workshops.
Evening
Attend a traditional music and dance performance at a local cultural center, immersing yourself in Uzbekistan's rich cultural heritage
Day 7 - 26th August: Khiva (Train takes 7h 26m).
Travel to Khiva
We will have a train to khiva.
Khiva: An ancient city that feels like stepping back in time with its well-preserved medieval architecture. Customers can explore the walled city of Itchan Kala, visit the Tash Hauli Palace, and admire the intricate tilework of the mosques and madrasas.
Afternoon
Visit the Kunya-Ark Citadel, the Tash-Hauli Palace, and the Juma Mosque with its unique wooden pillars. Explore the intricate tilework and architecture of the buildings.
Evening
Enjoy a sunset walk along the city walls, offering panoramic views of Khiva's skyline and surrounding desert landscape.
Day 8 - 27th August: Khiva.
Morning
Explore the rest of Khiva's attractions, including the Mohammed Amin Khan Madrasah, the Islam Khodja Minaret, and the Pakhlavan Mahmud Mausoleum
Afternoon
Take a guided tour of the Khiva Silk Carpet Workshop, where you can learn about the traditional art of carpet weaving and purchase souvenirs to take home.
Evening
Relax and reflect on your journey through Uzbekistan over a farewell dinner, savoring the flavors of Uzbek cuisine and reminiscing about your unforgettable experiences.
Day 9 - 28th August khiva to Taskend – to Dhaka (Flight is about 8 am from Khiva).
